The T3 finish for Max Homa in the Masters was probably a turning point in his career. Placing third was his best finish in a major tournament for his career. That said, in Homa's last two PGA finishes, he missed the cut entirely. His best PGA finish was 13th in 2022. Therefore, it's hard to see Homa winning the title this year.

The 10th highest-ranked golfer typically does well under bright lights. While he hasn't won a big event, it'll likely come eventually. That said, after a T3 finish at the Masters and an 8th place finish at the Wells Fargo Championship, I'd expect Homa to be inside the top ten. Taking a long shot at +600 isn't such a bad idea with Homa. However, he's 48th in shots gained in total, which isn't the most appealing number.

Again, Homa is in good form. He just finished in the top ten at the Wells Fargo Championship and added a top-ten finish in the Masters a month ago. If nothing else, Homa certainly comes alive in bigger events, as we've already seen this year. Therefore, I'd consider backing Homa to finish in the top ten at +280. Those aren't bad odds at all.
