NASCAR Odds: William Byron and Kyle Larson Co-Favorites to Win Ambetter Health 400?

What a start to the year it’s been for William Byron. In his first five years in NASCAR, he had won two races in a season just once; now, he’s won the last two weeks in a row. The sportsbooks believe Byron is the favorite to win a third race in a row, but he’s expected to have fierce competition with Kyle Larson.

Byron is given +900 odds or an implied 10% chance to win the Ambetter Health 400 for a second straight year. However, Larson is also given +900 odds to win after back-to-back top-five finishes.

Meanwhile, current cup standings leader Alex Bowman is given +1800 odds or an implied 5.3% chance to win the race. Tyler Reddick has also joined the top 10 after a third-place finish last week as he looks to get his season on track.

William Byron is attempting to win three of the first five races of the season. No driver has accomplished that since Kevin Harvick won three of the first four in 2018. That year Harvick went on to compete in the Championship race, something Byron had never done in his career. He’s currently +1200 to win the Championship, sixth on the market.
