What is each-way betting and can you do it in the US?

Each-way better, which is popular in the United Kingdom on sports such as horse racing and golf, is essentially two bets combined into one.

With an each-way bet, you are making a win bet on your golfer as well as a place bet. For example, if you backed Scottie Scheffler to win the PGA Championship this week on the each-way market with bet365, you will receive your normal stake if he does triumph at Quail Hollow. However, bet365 will also give you 1/5 of the winnings if he was to place in the top five positions.

While you are winning less than if he was to triumph at the PGA Championship, you are still getting a cash back.
