With Chelsea being part of the BlueCo Group, a consortium led by LA Dodgers and LA Lakers part-owner, Todd Boehly, the expectation is that they will hire from within. That means Strasbourg Head Coach, Liam Rosenior, is the clear favorite for the role, given his success in the French Ligue 1.
Chelsea's recent lack of form in the Premier League and tensions between Maresca and the board have led to this search for a new coach, and while Rosenior looks almost certain to land the role, there are two former Chelsea players touted for the position as well.

Fábregas won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup and League Cup once, and the UEFA Europa League as a Chelsea player, and it's that history with the club that put him in the spotlight.

Frank Lampard (+2500)

He is the leading candidate for a reason, given the simplicity of moving him from one BlueCo team to another, and he is much more likely to be a "yes man" than any other candidate, which the board will want after the current situation with Maresca.
