2021 Valspar Championship Odds & Preview: Dustin Johnson & Justin Thomas Early Betting Favorites

PGA Tour Odds This Week: Valspar Championship
The Zurich Classic was a nice break from the standard PGA Tour events, however, we resume normal action again this week, as the PGA Tour returns to Florida for the 2021 Valspar Championship.
The Valspar Championship is normally one of the best golf events of the year outside of the scheduled majors, and this year will be no exception with some of the world's best golfers teeing up in Florida.
2021 Valspar Championship: Course Break Down
The Valspar Championship is played at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead) in Palm Harbor, Florida. The course is a par 71, and measure 7,340 yards. Our experts will provide their PGA Tour predictions and picks later in the week for the Valspar Championship, but if you are fancying an early play in the betting market, the course demands accuracy of the tee.
The 72-hole record at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead) was set by Vijay Singh in 2004 (226).
The 18-hole record was set by Padraig Harrington in 2012 (61).
The 1st and 14th hole at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead) are the potential eagle holes, as both the par 5’s have an eagle rater around 1%. All the par 5’s at the course have a birdie rater over 20%, with the 1st hole having a birdie rate of 40%.
There are four par-4’s with bogey rates over 20%, and the 16th hole as a 6% double bogey+ rate.
The Valspar Championship odds market will likely reflect the accuracy needed from the tee and also premium on par 5 scoring.
