We have reached the semi-final round of the WBC and we should get a heck of a game tonight. Let's get into my pick.

Japan vs. Mexico Prediction
Team Japan and Team Mexico will clash for what should be a great matchup. Team Japan has been outstanding in WBC play so far, led by superstar Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani, who has been one of the best players in baseball for the last couple of years, is the main reason that team Japan is in this position.
Ohtani can do it all, from throwing a baseball 100-plus MPH to hitting a baseball 450 feet. He may be the most talented baseball player to ever live. Another star of this Japan team is former Cy Young award winner Yu Darvish. One other player on team Japan that many fans of the MLB will recognize is Lars Nootbar, who has been giving team Japan some great pre-game speeches, as I am sure many of you have seen at this point.
Team Mexico, meanwhile, is headlined by multiple current MLB players but most notably Randy Arozarena of the Tampa Bay Rays. Arozarena has had a great WBC so far and is the main reason that team Mexico is here.
Washington Nationals' young star, Joey Meneses, has shown how great of a hitter he is on the national stage. Meneses was the difference when Team Mexico knocked off Team USA. He hit a pair of home runs in the game and Team Mexico never looked back in the game. Team Japan enters play tonight as a heavy favorite.
I am going to take Team Mexico on the run line today. I think that Japan is a bit overvalued here and I think that this game should actually be closer to a pick‘em. I would give Japan the advantage tonight from a pitching point of view, but this is an extremely talented offense that Mexico has. I trust that they will be able to produce runs and keep this game close. This should be a fun one tonight. Let’s cash in!
