This is wild. This was a cash cow for us last year to start the year, and the sportsbooks started bumping it to -200. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
Betting an Opening Day walk line may seem like the most degenerate thing of all time, but this is a good one. Zack Greinke started in 26 games last year and was under in 20/26 starts. Paying just -130 for a bet with a 77% hit rate last year is great value.

Minnesota did walk the 10th most times last year, but Greinke has hit this bet in two of his last three against them. I don’t see Greinke pitching more than 85+ pitches due to it being opening day. The man is 39 years old and shouldn’t be overworked this early into the year.
This is really just a “this should be more juiced” bet. The hit rate last year was incredible, and he hasn’t shown signs of worse accuracy this Spring. Greinke should hammer the zone today and help us cash this wacky bet. If he ends with 2+ for whatever reason, then we will absolutely revisit this for likely better odds. Cash cows don’t come around every day; we must take advantage. Let's roll!
