This is an interesting Giants team that has a lot of talent on it. The Giants did not make the playoffs last year after having their best regular season in team history a season prior. San Francisco is not slated to be a playoff team entering the year, but they feel as if they have a team that is capable of making some noise in the national league. Today the Giants will send veteran right-hander Anthony DeSclafani to the mound. DeSclafani was outstanding in his first start vs. the Whtie Sox when he went six innings, allowing just three hits and no runs.
