MLB Same-Game Parlay Picks Today: Marlins vs. Nationals, Braves vs. Dodgers

Braxton Garrett will take the mound for the Marlins tonight. Garrett has only struck out 15.7% of batters over the last month. Now he'll face a Nationals lineup that has only struck out 11.1% of the time against lefties in the previous month. Washington's projected lineup has just one player striking out more than 20% of the time against lefties. It's unlikely Garrett will earn at least five strikeouts against this bunch. Garrett has also allowed a .190 ISO and wOBA of .327 to his last 87 righties. Ildemaro Vargas has smashed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .350 with only 6.2% of strikeouts against lefties in 32 at-bats. He's in line for at least one hit tonight. On the other hand, Joan Adon will get the start for the Nationals. He's watched his last 36 lefties smack a .257 ISO and wOBA of .341. Adon has given up more fly balls than ground balls induced over the previous month. Meanwhile, Jazz Chisholm has hit a .231 ISO and wOBA of .354 against his last 68 righties. An extra-base hit is certainly not out of the question for Chisholm tonight.

Braves vs. Dodgers Same-Game Parlay

Spencer Strider has struck out 31.4% of batters over the last month. But he's struck out 38.1% of batters this season. That's more than one batter every three plate appearances. The Dodgers have only struck out 18.9% of the time against righties. But Strider is a different right-handed pitcher than other righties the Dodgers have faced. Los Angeles has three batters who have struck out more than 22.,5% of the time, and plenty of power sluggers who sometimes get a little overzealous at the plate. On the other hand, Lance Lynn will get the ball. He's become an ace since he was traded to the Dodgers. However, he's still only struck out 21% of batters over the last month. His strikeout rate isn't near what Strider's is. The Braves have struck out 18.5% of the time against righties and have just two players striking out more than 20.3% against other righties in the last month. Lastly, Lynn has watched his last 58 righties hit a .273 ISO and wOBA of .339. Ronald Acuna Jr. will be the NL MVP. He's a righty, hitting a .261 ISO and wOBA of .438 against his last 99 righties. He's got potential for two total bases tonight, along with any of the other right-handed bats in the Braves lineup.
