Well, I got burned late by the Dodgers last night, but I am going to go right back to them here today in a strong bounce-back spot for one of baseball's best squads. The Miami Marlins are hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers in this three-game series and have a chance to put things on ice with a win here tonight, so I expect the Dodgers to respond.

Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction
Jesus Luzardo has been throwing the ball well, so I am not shocked he held his own last night, but it is not often you see future Hall of Fame starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw lose starts. Luzardo was able to keep the Dodgers from stringing base runners together or pushing more than a run across at a time, and when they went to the bottom of the eighth tied, they pounced and dropped three runs on Los Angeles to seal the deal.
Lance Lynn has the ball tonight, and despite struggling in his last few starts, I like this bounce-back spot for him and the squad here. Los Angeles did not sign him to be an ace, and they signed him so they had a consistent arm who could give them innings, and Lynn is exactly that. The strength of this team is exactly what it has been for years now: the offense.
The starting rotation has been up and down, but the bats are consistently one of the best in the league, and they just have not made noise in the last few games. Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are among MVP candidates for the season, yet have a combined three hits over their last four games. I like them to wake up tonight and even the series.
