Oakland Athletics vs. Toronto Blue Jays Same-Game Parlay: Tail This Expert's +660 Same-Game Parlay

The Toronto Blue Jays have taken care of business in this series, winning the first two games with a combined run differential of 13-6 over the first two games. For the series finale, the Jays send out Hyun Jin Ryu, while the Oakland Athletics send out JP Sears. I have a three-leg same-game parlay for this game that I absolutely love. Let's dive into it.

Oakland Athletics vs. Toronto Blue Jays Same-Game Parlay

Leg 1: Blue Jays ML -166

The Athletics suck, but they're even worse in day games. The A's are 11-47 in day games and 31-50 in night games. That makes their day-game win percentage 18%. At night, it's a much better 38%. The Jays had a scare in game one, but they have taken both games and are clearly the better team, even without Matt Chapman, Bo Bichette, and Danny Jansen. They still have a lineup full of guys that crush left-handed pitchers. The Jays have been hitting .311 against left-handed pitching the last 30 days, which is 4th in the MLB. Hyun Jin Ryu has looked dominant since returning from injury, posting a 2.48 ERA over his six starts since returning. This is a chance for the Jays to sweep, and they really need it in the playoff race.

Leg 2: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1+ Hit -270

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a lull in July around the midseason, but he has been back on his game lately. He is hitting .295 over the last 30 days, and his swing has looked a lot better. Vladdy hits much better off lefties, and today, he faces a lefty in Sears. Vladdy is .297 off lefties this season and .262 off righties. Strangely, Vladdy has also hit much better on the road. He is .296 on the road this season and just .234 at home. He has at least one hit in both games this series, and he has a hit in 19 of his last 20 games overall. Against a lefty in a day game, he should get at least one knock here.

Leg 3: Davis Schneider 1+ Home Run +390

Davis Schneider has been an absolute machine since getting called up. The 24-year-old rookie has a .381 batting average, six home runs, and a 1.310 OPS in 19 games played in the MLB. What makes him even scarier? Facing a lefty. Schneider has a .1451 OPS against lefties in a limited sample size, but five of his six home runs have come off lefties in five fewer at-bats. He has five home runs in 29 at-bats off lefty pitchers and just one home run in 34 at-bats against righties. He has been seeing the ball extremely well, and he hits incredibly hard, posting 17 extra-base hits in just his first 19 games as a big leaguer. Sears can be prone to giving up long balls, giving up one home run every 4.7 innings. If anyone goes yard off him today, I expect it to be Schneider.
