Well, we took the last few days off from MLB wagers as the first weekend of all-out action on the gridiron was this weekend, and we had a big Monday Night Football game last night, but with things calming down for a few days, we are heading back to the diamond tonight. We have a loaded slate with plenty of games to choose from, so I am going to cut the prologue here and dive into our first MLB wager for the night.

Baltimore Orioles vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction
Despite this being a massively disappointing season for the St. Louis Cardinals, the last two weeks have been tolerable. Despite being just 6-5 over the last two weeks, they have been putting up runs like the offense we all knew they were capable of being. Across their last 12 games, the Cardinals are averaging just shy of six runs at 5.83 RPG and have scored less than four runs just twice across that time frame. The over has hit at an 8-3 pace across their last eleven games, and if they can contribute tonight like they have been, I think things can fly over in Baltimore tonight.
Adam Wainwright has the ball for the Cardinals, and although I love Uncle Charlie dearly, he is not playing at a level that is competitive in this league consistently anymore. Wainwright has never had overwhelming velocity, but what he lacked in velo he made up for with phenomenal accuracy and great off-speed pitches. The curveball is still disgusting, but with Waino struggling to keep the fastball north of 90, he is really getting killed right now. There has been a start or two recently where he was painting corners and did well, but if he is not lights out on his locations, it is just too easy for opposing hitters. A 90 MPH fastball is not gas in this league anymore, and when you are looking for a money pitch or off-speed, guys can tee off.
The Orioles have one of the best offenses in the league and are absolutely electric with the bats at Camden Yards. This month, they are crushing the ball per usual, and the O's are averaging 7.58 RPG across their last thirteen games, scoring less than five runs just twice across that time span. If you bought the hook down in Baltimore games, they are a stellar 87-56 for the over this season and are 10-1 across their last 11 games.
