It's time for Wainwright to shut it down for good.
He's struck out just 9.7% of batters in the last 30 days. That's down from his 11.3% of strikeouts throughout the season.
The veteran righty has allowed a .261 ISO and wOBA of .393 while allowing nearly 35% of fly balls in the last month.
Wainwright will take on an Orioles lineup that has only struck out 19.3% of the time against righties. Only Austin Hays and Adam Fraizer have struck out more than 21.7% of the time against righties in the last month.
However, Hayes has a .192 ISO and wOBA of .330 against his last 56 righties. Frazier also has a .322 wOBA against his last 44 righties. Wainwright's not going to fool many tonight.

He'll face a Nationals lineup that has only struck out 15.5% of the time against lefties in the last month. The Nationals should have a lineup with at least eight righties in it. Again, Falter has been much better at earning strikeouts against lefties. Only Michael Chavis has struck out more than 21.4% of the time against lefties in the last month. But those numbers are likely unsustainable against a Marlins team that has struck out just 14.6% of the time against righties. Miami's got six batters striking out 15.4% of the time or less against righties in the last month.
