Well, we got burnt here on this total last night, but I am going right back to it in the rubber match of this three-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Baltimore Orioles. There are a few reasons I still like the total here tonight, so let's dive into the game now.

Baltimore Orioles vs. St. Louis Cardinals Prediction
Baltimore struggled against veteran Adam Wainwright last night in a game in which he not only threw the ball well but simply had some of that natural baseball luck on his side. Through five innings, Wainwright threw 94 pitches which is rather high for a guy who now loses velo as the game goes on (and does not start with much in the first place), but he really got lucky with baserunners.
Uncle Charlie allowed seven hits and conceded three walks, yet only allowed two runs and left the game with the lead. With a lost season for the Cardinals and chasing win number 200 for Waino's career, one of the few goals left this season, the Cardinals offense secured the win with a few more runs, and Manager Oli Marmol brought in his best arms to secure the win.
Now we have the rubber match of the series here at Camden Yards; however, I do not expect the guys on the rubber to control the game. The Orioles mash at Camden Yards and are still averaging north of seven runs a game over the last two weeks and are 11-2 for the over across their last thirteen games. Tonight, they face a young rookie, with Cardinals Southpaw Drew Rom taking the mound. Rom is 0-2 with a 7.79 ERA on the year, and I expect the O's to take some frustration out on the kid tonight. Kyle Gibson has a strong 14-8 record on the year but is still sporting an ERA north of five, so I expect a Cardinals offense that has averaged north of five RPGs over the last two weeks to contribute.
