The last play I want to dive into on the diamond tonight takes us back to the City of Brotherly Love for the final clash in this four-game series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves.

Atlanta has been on a tear with the overs this season at 83-62 when buying the hook, and they are now 8-2 across their last ten games as well. This is the most potent offensive unit in the league, with an absurd four different hitters already clearing the 30 home run mark on the season, and they are leading the MLB in that category by a mile. The Braves have combined for 281 home runs this season, and the Dodgers are the only team even near them, and they are still nearly 60 jacks behind at 226. Philly is up there with 195 and has plenty of potential to keep hitting the long ball tonight, too.
In terms of run differential, Atlanta leads the league with a crazy +239 on the season and more impressively outscore opponents on the road more than they do at home at +137 in comparison to +102. Philly ranks 11th best in baseball at +70, but luckily for us, the difference in what they do at home and on the road is huge: +78 at home, -8 on the road.
I am really not concerned with starting pitchers here, even with Braves ace Spencer Strider taking the ball. Strider has conceded ten runs in his last two starts and is coming off an illness that pushed his start back to today. Each game in this series has seen a minimum of 12 runs, and I see no reason why these two powerhouse squads don't duke it out in another high-scoring affair this evening.
