Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves Same Game Parlay

Leg 1: Matt Olson 2+ Total Bases

Matt Olson is one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now, and he has cleared his bases line in 10 straight games. He has not hit lefties as well as righties this year, but I still think he can have some success against Phillies lefty Christopher Sanchez. Below are a few reasons I am playing Olson in this matchup.

  • .514/1.045 Expected SLG% versus Sanchez’s top two pitches to left-handed batters
  • .333 AVG and .357 ISO versus left-handed pitching since August 6
  • 2+ Total Bases in five of the last six games at Philly (.561 Career ISO there)

Leg 2: Ronald Acuna Jr. to Record a Run

Leg 2 is going to be Ronald Acuna Jr. to score a run. Acuna has a run in seven straight games and is hitting .360 versus left-handed pitching over the last 15 games. I think it is a favorable matchup again tonight, and I expect him to reach base multiple times tonight. Below are a few more reasons I like him.

  • 1+ Run in five of the last six games versus the Phillies
  • 1+ Run in six of the last six games with 5+ plate appearances
  • 1+ Run in six of the last seven road games

Leg 3: Ozzie Albies 1+ Hit

The last leg of the parlay is Ozzie Albies to record a hit. Albies leads the league in batting AVG against left-handed pitching this year, and I don’t see any reason he can’t get us a hit tonight. Below are a few additional reasons I like him tonight.

  • .391 AVG versus left-handed pitching since August 1
  • 1+ Hit in 17 of the last 20 road games
  • 1+ hit in 19 of the last 23 games with 5+ plate appearances
  • 2+ Hits in five of the last seven Wednesday games
