Jose Butto is finally developing in the Majors. He's added 28.9% of strikeouts over the last month and has held teams to a .073 ISO and wOBA of .244 in the previous 30 days.
Butto will face a Marlins lineup that has struck out 21.2% of the time against righties in the last month. Luis Arraez has helped that rate dip. However, Jorge Soler, Josh Bell, Jazz Chisholm, Jake Burger, and Garrett Hampson have all struck out at least 24.7% of the time against righties in the last month.
If he can earn one strikeout against each of those batters, we'd get a plus-money hit.
Butto has earned over 31% of whiffs and 14% of swinging strikes over the last 30 days. That's above average.
