Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction: Will Rangers Bats Get to Kyle Bradish in ALDS Game 1?

Well to kick off the Divisional round of the 2023 MLB postseason I want to dive into the first game of the day in what I am expecting to be one of the best series of the entire post season. Two young American League juggernauts are set to clash in Maryland as the Baltimore Orioles fresh off the bye week are set to clash with the Texas Rangers who are coming fresh off their sweep in the wild card series over the Tampa Bay Rays. These two squads were elite all season long and I expect the bats to show up here in Game 1.

Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

This is no cake walk over, Kyle Bradish and Dane Dunning are both great pitchers; this is simply more of a situational spot. Texas is already on their third man in the rotation and Dane Dunning is a Southpaw which the Orioles traditionally hit very well against. Add in the fact that the team is well rested and plays phenomenally well at Camden Yards, I would be shocked if the bats were not lively tomorrow.

On the flip side, Texas is getting Baltimores best here but those boys are coming off an excellent series against Tampa Bay in which they had no problems capitalizing against the best arms in their rotation. The time off helps a squad rest and recuperate but keeping in the zone and having real, meaningful at bats this week is helpful as well. This is a hitters park the season with a low total and great talent on both sides, give me the over.
