Well this is one of my favorite months of the entire year. The NFL is fully underway, College Football is starting to hit the heart of their schedules, the NHL finally returns tomorrow and we have the playoffs in full swing on the diamond. With divisional round action underway, we are going to dive into my favorite of the two clashes in the National League tonight.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves Prediction
The Philadelphia Phillies hold a 1-0 lead over the Atlanta Braves and I am loving that we are still getting them at plus money here. Trust me, I understand why, the Atlanta Braves are a true juggernaut with a prolific lineup and a plethora of talent on the mound but the fact of the matter is this is now playoff baseball.
You do not have 162 games to prove how good you are anymore, you have to win three of five to move on and the Phillies already looked incredibly comfortable taking Game 1 in Atlanta.
Zack Wheeler has been exceptional in the playoffs and throws the ball incredibly well against the big bad Braves. With an incredibly large sample size of 261 at bats to draw analysis from, it is safe to say the success is no fluke and Wheeler loves facing these guys.
Wheeler sports a 74/13 K/BB ratio against current Braves hitters and is holding them to a lowly slash line of just .218/.260/.423 for a week sub .700 OPS. This team is incredibly talented and can get to anyone but Wheeler knows what he is doing here.
On the flip side, Braves ace Max Fried has not been totally awful against Philly but definitely not great either. Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos, J.T. Realmuto, and Trea Turner are all sporting an OPS between .935-1.375 against him and when the heart of the lineup loves to face someone the rest of the team feeds off of it. This is a bad spot for Atlanta.
