This is going to be one of the most interesting baseball articles I have written all season. We have three games today and I like action on all of them but I am liking my chops over this matchup between Minnesota and Houston tonight and for that reason, we are breaking down three plays on the game.

Houston Astros vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
Neither of these starting pitchers has found a plethora of success against the opposing squad and the trend in the series thus far has leaned towards runs. Two of the three contests thus far have gone over, with the other pushing, leading to a minimum of eight runs scored in every contest. The Twins got clobbered at home last night and are now on the verge of elimination; I expect Houston to push the pace here but don't expect the Twins to not put up a crooked number.
Houston just thrashed the Twins at Target Field last night and have a golden opportunity to put the series away tonight. They are the far superior squad with a boatload of playoff experience and a lineup full of guys who know what it takes to win and how to do it. The Astros are in the driver's seat in this series, and this is the game to end it without adding stress.
Alex Bregman is slashing .500/.625/1.167 for a 1.792 OPS against Joe Ryan in his career. I do not care about sample size, those numbers are absurd and if the Astros keep swinging the sticks, he should cause problems. Look for Bregman to earn more than 1.5 bases tonight with some clutch hits.
