Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Thursday's NLDS Game

The Philadelphia Phillies will look to earn another 3-1 NLDS victory over the Atlanta Braves for the second straight season. Philadelphia earned a 3-1 series win last year against the Braves and made it all the way into the World Series before losing to the Astros. The Phillies will have a challenging task against Spencer Strider. Can the Phillies get to Strider in Game 4 of the NLDS? Here are some strikeout props for Game 4 of the NLDS between the Braves and Phillies.

October 12 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Spencer Strider Over 8.5 Ks (+115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Atlanta Braves will send out Spencer Strider for tonight's game against the Phillies. Strider has struck out 30.2% of batters in the last 30 days while holding teams to a .126 ISO and wOBA of .279. He pitched in Game 1 of the NLDS and was tagged with the loss. However, Strider went seven innings, allowing two runs (one earned), with eight strikeouts. The Phillies figure to have six batters in the lineup who have struck out at least 23.5% of the time against righties in the last month. Atlanta will also rely heavily on Strider. The bullpen hasn't done well. Therefore, I'll take Strider to earn at least nine strikeouts tonight.

Ranger Suarez Under 3.5 Ks (-140) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

On the other hand, Ranger Suarez will get the start for the Phillies. The left-hander also pitched in Game 1 of the NLDS and went just 3.2 innings with four strikeouts. However, Suarez has only struck out 20.7% of batters in the last 30 days. That's down from his average of 22.2% of strikeouts this season. That seasonal rate is also a below-average number. We also know Suarez likely won't go five innings, just like in Game 1. The Phillies will work with their bullpen after Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola gave Philadelphia quality outings. Atlanta has only struck out 20.6% of the time against lefties this season. It's been higher over the last month. However, they've also collectively hit an ISO of .240 with a wOBA of .383 this season as a projected lineup. In a do-or-die game, the Braves will likely try aggressively to get on the board early and force a Game 5. Take Suarez to go Under.
