Well now it is time to dive into game one of the National League Championship Series. The Philadelphia Phillies host the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 1 of the duel for the pennant and I expect an electric series between the Phils and the Snakes.

This one should be a duel from the get-go with both squads sending their aces to the mound in game one. Zack Wheeler and Zac Gallen are two of the best pitchers in the game and both have thrown exceptionally well thus far in the postseason. I expect what should be a lower scoring an affair and whoever is able to keep their starter out there longer is more likely to win this one.
Gallen has been electric but my money is on Wheeler. Zack has had a dominant postseason career sporting a 2.59 ERA and 0.72 WHIP to this point in his career and getting the ball at home tonight is an even bigger advantage.
Philadelphia is a dominant home team that feeds off of the energy the Philly faithful bring to the stadium, especially in the playoffs. They have the best record at home during the playoffs out of any team in the league. Some squads and cities are built for October, others aren't; The Phillies are built for October.
The lineup is lethal with a star studded bunch of clutch performers all across the board, the 1-2 combo in Zach Wheeler and Aaron Nola is lights out and the rest of the pitching staff like Ranger Suarez and Gregory Soto are throwing incredibly well as well. This team is firing on all cylinders and I am sold on Philly ball, this team and city wants it bad.
