As if this series couldn’t get any more dramatic, Max Scherzer will be taking the mound for the Rangers tonight in only his second appearance in the last five weeks. Clear your schedule for tonight, you’re not going to want to miss this one…

Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros Prediction
I wish I could sit here and tell you that Max Scherzer is going to dominate tonight, but I can’t. He got destroyed against the Astros earlier this week, and I simply don’t know how much gas he has left in the tank. Instead of forcing a side down your throat, why don’t I give you a play that I am most-confident in for this ALCS Game 7.
Adolis Garcia has been carrying this offense all series, coming up in big moments and producing for the Rangers when the lights have been at their brightest. Although he’s carried this offense for the greater part of the last six games, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to shine again tonight…
If I was Dusty Baker, I wouldn’t let the hottest hitter on the Rangers beat me tonight like he has already done multiple times in this series. I’d be shocked if the Astros throw him a single strike this entire game. If there is a base open, expect the Astros to pitch around the young star in every at-bat possible tonight. There is no reason to pitch to this kid right now, he’s simply too locked in.
Fading Garcia right now isn’t for the faint of heart, but it’s the most profitable angle in this matchup that I can find. It would shock me if Garcia got a single pitch to hit tonight, unless the bases are loaded and the Astros have nowhere to put him on the base-paths. If that happens, I’ll charge it to the game, but I’m willing to bet he won’t get many opportunities to produce for the Rangers tonight.
So, how are we going to fade him? I’m eyeing his u0.5 RBI prop that’s up on most sportsbooks. I like this prop the most for a couple reasons, the main one being that if there’s a runner in scoring position, there’s no way Dusty Baker lets any pitcher throw a ball remotely close to the strike zone against the hottest hitter in baseball right now. If Garcia is getting pitched-around, this fade on his RBI’s prop is our best chance at cashing tonight. Fade Garcia, and I’ll meet you at the cash counter tonight.
