The Texas Rangers have a chance to take home the World Series in tonight's Game 5. Will Nathan Eovaldi help them get it done with a high strikeout count? Jason Radowitz breaks it down with his Game 5 strikeout props.
ANALYSIS

Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday's World Series Game 5

If the World Series ends tonight, at least we're getting an epic pitching matchup to finish off the series.

The Texas Rangers are one game away from winning the World Series and will send out their ace pitcher, Nathan Eovaldi, for tonight's game.

On the other hand, the Diamondbacks will look to force a Game 6 with their ace, Zac Gallen, on the hill.

Will Game 5 resemble Game 1 when both pitchers take the mound? Or will we see completely different results?

Here are my top strikeout bets for tonight's game.

November 1 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Zac Gallen Under 4.5 Ks (-106) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Gallen only hit more than five strikeouts in one postseason game this year. He's thrown 27.1 innings and has allowed 13 walks with only 18 strikeouts.

In the last 30 days, Gallen has struck out 15.3% of batters while allowing a .214 ISO and wOBA of .368. While he was Arizona's ace throughout the season, he's allowed at least two or more runs in every postseason game. He's also walked two or more batters in each game.

His pitch count will rise, and he'll also face a Rangers lineup that has only struck out 17.4% of the time against righties in the last month.

I'll gladly take Gallen's under here.

Nathan Eovaldi Over 4.5 Ks (-122) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Even though Nathan Eovaldi went 4.2 innings against the Diamondbacks in Game 1 of the World Series, he still struck out eight batters.

Yes, Eovaldi allowed five runs on six hits. But it was a little flukey. Eovaldi earned nine ground balls to just four fly balls. He also struck out eight and walked just one.

He's been good all year and will likely continue his dominance against the Diamondbacks tonight.

Arizona's projected lineup has struck out 28.2% of the time, with all but one batter striking out at least 20.9% of the time in the last 30 days against righties.

Meanwhile, Eovaldi has struck out 28.8% of batters in the last 30 days and has held teams to a .111 ISO and wOBA of .263 the previous month.

Back Eovaldi to go over his strikeout total.
