I could not have been more wrong about how Game 4 of the World Series would play out last night. I had the Snakes, stating that this series was going the distance. I couldn’t have been more off, and after watching last night’s game, I am now convinced that this series is over.

This Rangers’ lineup has proven to be too much to handle for the Diamondbacks in this series. Although they fought back late, the 10 runs Texas put up in the first couple of innings was simply too much to come back from. This series is over, now that Nathan Eovaldi takes the mound for the Rangers.
Although he’s struggled at times during the season, there’s no doubt that Nathan Eovaldi is one of the best postseason pitchers we’ve seen in years. He has yet to lose a game this postseason, owning a 4-0 record up to this point. Eovaldi is looking to become the first starting pitcher in postseason history to win five starts. He holds a 3.30 ERA and an 8-3 record in 16 postseason appearances in his career as he looks to shut down the Snakes in a must-win spot for them…
Arizona’s offense looks dead, and even when they get on the base-paths, this team isn’t being nearly as aggressive as they were during the season. That is how the Snakes became so dangerous, it was using their speed. Now that they are under the brightest of lights, it sucks to see this team not be nearly as aggressive once they get one base. The one edge they had is now gone.
Even without Adolis Garcia, this Rangers team has all the momentum heading into potentially the final game of the World Series. Ride the hot hand, and back the Rangers on the moneyline to close this series out tonight. They have one of the best postseason arms in baseball taking the mound tonight, and their momentum from last night’s blowout will be too much for the Snakes to overcome.
