MLB Futures Bet: Lock In This Expert's Shohei Ohtani Prop

Shohei Ohtani is arguably the most fun guy to watch in the world play baseball. Why not have incentive to root for him throughout the year? Ohtani will be sporting a new ball club but should still be the same beast we all know and love.

Ohtani has hit this in two of his last three seasons including last year hitting 44 home runs in just 135 games. Ohtani will not be pitching this season which should be good for his health and he is less likely to get injured again by only batting. If he plays majority of the season this is just too light of a number. We’re essentially betting on his health.

In a lineup with Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and more all stars we should see Ohtani get pitched around less and pitchers will actually have to throw strikes against him. In a better lineup, I’m expecting Dodgers to have some high scoring games where he may even see five at bats in some games. The more plate appearances the better. Ohtani hits complete no doubters and I can’t wait to root for him this year. Let's roll!
