Los Angeles Dodgers NL West Prediction
This is mostly just a fun bet for us. The Dodgers are a wagon that everyone will bet, and they are accurately higher than -400 odds to win their division. The only two teams in slight consideration to steal the division from them would be Arizona and San Diego, but I don’t think either team has the firepower to do so. San Diego losing Soto is a huge blow, and Arizona probably overachieved last year.
The addition of Ohtani, Yamamoto, Glasnow and Hernandez are all significant upgrades on a team that already would have probably repeated with 100+ wins. A three-headed monster of Mookie, Freeman and Ohtani could be unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Atlanta Braves NL East Prediction
Our next leg is for Atlanta to win their division. Atlanta won their division by 14 games last year, and have a good-looking roster to see similar success. Their offseason wasn’t flashy, but it didn’t need to be. The team is already so young and talented, it’s smart to not mess with the core too much. Our only real threat is Philly here. Last year people thought the Phillies could win the division, but they fell far short.
Philadelphia didn’t do too much in the offseason to make me believe they could make the leap to a division winner. I just think Atlanta has the better roster and should continue to pile on wins as long as the team remains healthy. These are by far the two favorites to win the World Series. Pairing them up to each win their division is a no-brainer, let's roll!
