Although Opening Day doesn't really start until March 28, the Dodgers and Padres will start the season with a two-game series in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
In the first game of the series, it'll be Tyler Glasnow against Yu Darvish. Glasnow just signed a massive deal with the Dodgers after being traded from the Rays. Hopefully, Glasnow's injuries are behind him after only pitching in 120 innings last season.
Meanwhile, Darvish is coming off a poor season last year and is only getting older. He's currently 37 years of age. We'll see if he can bounce back this year with San Diego.
That said, I've added a couple of strikeout props for the season's first game.

While the Dodgers will likely tag Darvish for a couple of runs, Darvish should still rack up the strikeouts.
In Spring Training, he threw three games and added 10 strikeouts in 9.1 innings. He also had a WHIP of 1.07, which wasn't entirely bad.
Max Muncy has struck out nine times against Darvish in 26 plate appearances, and Mookie Betts has seven strikeouts against Darvish in 34 plate appearances. Ultimately, the Dodgers haven't had crazy success against Darvish over the years. Only James Outman has an average of .333 or better with at least six plate appearances.
Darvish has never faced Shohei Ohtani, which should be a fun matchup to pay attention to, as well. Anyway, the last time Darvish faced the Dodgers was August 4. He pitched seven innings and allowed five hits and two runs, striking out only four. But in this game, if he gets to seven innings, I'd be shocked if he didn't have six strikeouts.

If one of these pitchers hits the Over, we'll be profitable.
Tyler Glasnow has looked terrific in Dodger Blue. In three Spring Training games, Glasnow has added 14 strikeouts in ten innings. He's also had an ERA of .90 and a WHIP of .7.
Only Xander Bogaerts has ever faced Glasnow in this Padres lineup. In three at-bats, he's had one hit, one walk, and one strikeout.
Unfortunately for the Padres, they had to cut some payroll and don't have a deep lineup this year. The top of the lineup will be great. However, the Padres figure to start Luis Campusano, Jurickson Profar, and Eguy Rosario at the bottom of the lineup.
That's where Glasnow should feast and add a bunch of strikeouts.
