Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday's Korea Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers escaped with a 5-2 win over the San Diego Padres in the first game of the series.

Yu Darvish only went 3.2 innings after throwing 72 pitches. Meanwhile, Tyler Glasnow went five innings after throwing just 77 pitches.

That could be the theme in Game 2 between Joe Musgrove of the Padres and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Dodgers.

Here are a couple of strikeout props to consider for Game 2 of the series.

March 21 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Joe Musgrove Under 5.5 K's (-142) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Joe Musgrove had an awful spring. He appeared in three games and only threw six innings. He finished with five strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.83 in those six innings.

I'd be more than surprised if Musgrove went six innings in this game against the Dodgers.

Musgrove threw twice against the Dodgers last season. He struck out Max Muncy and Jayson Heyward twice, but no other batter in the Dodgers lineup struck out more than once in those two games.

Even in his career, Musgrove has struck out 949 batters in 956.1 innings. He's typically good for about one strikeout per inning. But again, the expectation is that he doesn't go six innings, especially after only throwing six innings in all of Spring Training with little success.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 4.5 K's (-138) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

It's very likely that Yoshinobu Yamamoto hasn't adapted to the MLB yet. In three games in Spring, the rookie phenom finished with an 8.38 ERA in 9.2 innings.

However, in those 9.2 innings, he struck out 14 batters. It's probably fair to assume Yamamoto doesn't go a full five innings. It's also fair to assume that Yamamoto gives up some hits and runs. But there will be many times when the ball isn't put into play.

Yamamoto has incredible stuff. It won't be consistent early on, but he'll fan plenty of hitters in his debut.

Let's grab his Over for strikeouts.
