We had the over here yesterday, and got lucky with extra innings to cash it. But hey, that’s baseball; I want to head back to the well here today. It is a long season, but Philly needs to get it going in front of the Philly faithful tonight, a 1-4 start with little offense to show for it will not cut it for these fans. Philly produces at home, I am not worried about this team showing up today, especially after choking late yesterday. On the flip side, Cincy is swinging it really well and they are a genuine sleeper in the NL Central, look for them to keep the pedal to the metal. The last four meetings head-to-head have gone over, and I think both of these squads will keep swinging the sticks today.
Boston Red Sox vs. Oakland Athletics Prediction
Yeah, I am picking on the Oakland A’s, sue me. This team is a handful of games into the season, and already poised to challenge last season's woes. They are favored to have the longest losing streak of all active MLB teams this season as well. They sent down multiple starters to AAA ball already, I just don’t understand how you can justify not fading this team at a decent price. Boston won 9-0 last night, and get to face southpaw Alex Wood who is already sporting a 16.2 ERA on the season.
