Zac Gallen is already 1-0 for us on the short season. He has an opportunity to be our top moneymaker on the short year. Gallen is a man who has respecter our cash time after time. Today he has a tough matchup against the Yankees but he has flourished against these same batters in the past.
New York Yankees vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction
In Gallen’s opening start he only went five innings. I see him going an extra inning here today because it’s highly unlikely Arizona will have a 16-1 lead by the time he qualifies for a win. I could see Gallen throwing 100+ pitches as Arizona looks to hand New York their first loss. Gallen has hit this at home in 19 of his last 23 games, good for an 82% recent hit rate.
These New York bats look good this year but have a lifetime 10-65 hit rate against Gallen, only a .154 average. Gallen has elite stuff and Arizona should rely on him here tonight. Keep in mind, we don’t even need him to finish the sixth. Just to get two outs in the sixth and find his way to 17 outs. Let's roll!
