CHICAGO WHITE SOX VS. KANSAS CITY ROYALS PREDICTION

This is the first game of the four game series as these division rivals both look to get a "W" in the win column tonight. Michael Soroka takes the mound for the White Sox tonight where he went five innings in his first outing giving up four runs off of seven hits where the White Sox lost against the Tigers. Soroka has a career ERA of 3.40 as he looks to have a better outing in his second time in a White Sox uniform. Tonight, I do not think that happens as I believe that the Royals will get to him early and put up some runs against this weak White Sox team.

The White Sox have been battling poorly in their first five games as they are averaging just 5.6 hits per game yet giving up 8.4 hits per game. They are batting .181 on average as a team where the Royals are batting .238. The White Sox rank 28th in runs per game and I think they start out flat once again in this series opener.
