I am a St. Louis boy born and raised, y'all know that. I think it is beneficial, I know my teams like the back of my hand, I know when to bet them and when to stay the hell away and this is one of the best trust the boys days I have ever seen between the diamond and the ice. The birds rallied with a series win over the Padres after the opening series loss and I am loving this spot for the Birds at home here.
Best fans in baseball, I don't say that lightly and wouldn't claim it if literally everyone else didn't give us the title. They had a rough season last year and expectations are high after general manger John Mozeliak finally spent some money on the rotation this offseason; no true ace was signed but they upgraded after last years debacle and the man with the ball today is Lance Lynn.
No better guy to start this game. Birds legend, world series champion, the town loves him. With his "I don't care" attitude and the bats finally warming up I absolutely love this spot. Oil Marmol cannot afford a rough start to the year and a loss to the winless Mariners after Cardinals fans have waited months for Cardinals baseball would be a rough start. I will eat the juice, give me the birds.
