5 minMLB PARLAY PICK TODAY: FRIDAY'S MLB HIT PARLAY FROM CALLING OUR SHOT
Welcome back to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. We've hit FOUR straight parlays of the day. That is not a typo. Four Straight: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Today, we go for the illustrious parlay sweep (going 5-0 on the week). Buckle up. Let's finish the job.
FRIDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: OZZIE ALBIES (ATL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the Hit Parlay: Ozzie Albies. Albies and the Braves have their home opener against the Diamondbacks today. Albies is coming off a rare hitless game. Prior to that, he had a hit in three out of the first four games of the season and is still sitting at a .350 average for the season. The Braves had a few days off (thanks to some bad weather), but Albies will be out there ready to get the job done. Albies gets to face the lefty Tommy Henry today. In 2023, he mashed left handed pitching hitting .391 against lefties last season. As the two spot behind Ronald Acuna in this lineup, Albies will get pitches to hit. He’s in front of Austin Riley and Matt Olson and pitchers do not want to walk him. He's been scorching the baseball to start the season...and has had some bad luck. Several hard hit balls not getting down. Today, that changes. Go do your job, Ozzie!
LEG 2: COREY SEAGER (TEX) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Corey Seager. Seager and the Rangers host their in-state rivals the Astros today. This game has a total of 9.5...the books are clearly expecting some hits and runs. Let's hope Corey is contributing to the damage, just like he did on Wednesday's parlay of the day, getting us a first at-bat cash.
Seager is seeing the ball well as he homered in his most recent game and bumped his average up to .364. Today, Seager gets to face the righty Hunter Brown. Against Brown, Seager is 3-8 for a .375 average. Seager bats in the second spot behind Marcus Semien and should have a chance to get us an early hit. Corey is a two time World Series MVP for a reason and should be clutch for us today.
