Small slate on the ice tonight (another misstep from the NHL scheduling team, maybe try to look at the schedules for other leagues the you make yours next year for once, just a thought) so we will focus on the diamond. To kick things off, we will head to the Twin Cities as the Los Angeles Dodgers (8-4) are set to do battle with the Minnesota Twins (3-4) in what I expect to be a high scoring affair.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
James Paxton does not have good numbers against this Twins lineup and if he gives up runs, I expect the Dodgers bats to have to contribute if they want to win today. Paxton has been knocked around a bit by the Twins who are slashing .303/.360/.409 against him, with Carlos Correa, Max Kepler and Carlos Santana all finding success in particular.
Luckily for us, Bailey Ober is coming off a terrible start, and his routine got thrown off with the game postponed yesterday. I know the splits aren't strong for anyone against him, but there is not team in baseball as lethal as the Dodgers from top to bottom. You can't take a break between the 7-9 hitters, they can still mash and that will be problematic for Ober.
I would just take the over here, but I am going to double dip because I believe both squads swing the sticks. If these lineups can get to these starters, I really like our chances here on a relatively low total. four of the last five head-to-head have cleared this number.
