Welcome back to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, we bounced back and cashed out! Both of our guys got it done easily, Andres Gimenez ended with 2 Hits and Ketel Marte had 4. That will certainly do the trick. Let's do it again today.
WEDNESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: FREDDIE FREEMAN (LAD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of this hit parlay: Freddie Freeman. Freeman is an early-ish start today. Yesterday, if you backed Freddie, I'm sorry...he went 0 for 2 with 3 walks. That's always a concern with Freddie, that he walks several times, but today, he will deliver.
Freddie has YET to go back to back games this year without a hit (knock on wood). Today, Freddie will face Jake Irvin of the Nationals. He's seen him before and seen him well. Freddie is 3 for 6 lifetime against Irvin, not too shabby. Irvin is also in the 62nd percentile in walks (please don't walk Freddie). I believe in Freddie. One of the best hitters in the game. Go get it done!
LEG 2: TREA TURNER (PHI) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of this hit parlay: Trea Turner. Trea came up huge for us yesterday (for one of our other picks) with a double and he’s one of the hottest hitters in baseball.
Trea has a hit in six straight games including a hit in ten out of 12 home games this season. Trea faces Ryan Feltner and the Rockies today. Feltner has allowed 5+ hits in two of three starts this season including eight hits allowed in his most recent road game. Trea is hot right now and is batting .310 on the season. When he’s seeing the ball this well, we have to trust him to get it done for us once again!
We trust both Trea and Freddie (former teammates) to deliver us another hit parlay winner!
