Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Monday

We went 2-0 with yesterday's strikeout props! It likely would've been a 3-0 sweep if Merrill Kelly hadn't been scratched from his start yesterday. I was confident in that one.

But we'll take the 2-0 sweep!

Today's MLB slate includes 11 games, so there are still plenty of strikeout props to choose from. Here are my favorite three!

April 22 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Ranger Suarez Over 5.5 Ks (-142) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Cincinnati Reds typically have trouble against lefties. The Reds have hit a .128 ISO and wOBA of .299 with 25.3% of strikeouts as a projected lineup since last season.

That's good news for Ranger Suarez of the Phillies. The lefty has already earned 28.4% of strikeouts with 4.2% of walks. He's also allowed a .078 ISO and woBA of .216 with 63.5% of ground balls and only 14.3% of fly balls allowed.

Suarez should have six targets in the Reds' lineup that have struck out at least 22.8% of the time. While he's had more success with striking out lefties, he won't face any in this Cincinnati order. But he's still managed 26.8% of strikeouts against righties this season.

That's more than enough to get at least six strikeouts tonight.

Zack Littell Over 5.5 Ks (+130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I'm liking these odds.

Zack Littell has struck out nearly 25% of batters this season. The majority of his strikeouts have come against lefties, but he's also recorded 22.2% against righties.

That said, he's facing a Tigers projected lineup that has struck out 23.6% of the time against righties since last season. The Tigers have also hit a .129 ISO and wOBA of .296 with that projected lineup against righties since the previous year.

Littell has limited walks to 5.6% and has allowed just a .095 ISO. He'll likely pitch most of this game without much pressure with guys on the bases.

Let's roll with Littell to earn at least six strikeouts at +130.

Dylan Cease Over 7.5 Ks (+110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Dylan Cease is pitching in Coors Field, but I'm still ready to take his over 7.5 Ks tonight.

Since last season, the Rockies have struck out 27.6% of the time against righties using their projected lineup. Only Charlie Blackmon has struck out fewer than 24.1% of the time against righties in that time period.

Meanwhile, Cease has struck out 30% of batters to begin the season. He's also added 35.6% of strikeouts against righties.

As a righty, he's set to face more righties than lefties in the Colorado lineup.

Cease could get caught from a couple of lefties and give up a long ball or two. But most of his plate appearances and at-bats, especially against righties, should result in strikeouts.
