Absolutely lovely slate tonight on the diamond and Ice, a lot of great spots to choose from and I am all sorts of excited for the games tonight. To kick things off, I want to dive into one of my favorite plays on the board tonight.

Oakland Athletics vs. New York Yankees Prediction
Great bounce back spot here for the boys in pinstripes. I am not the biggest Yankees guy in the world, but their offensive prowess this season is undeniable and Juan Soto was exactly the cement they needed to solidify the legitimacy of this lineup - they not only have power, they have consistency.
Marcus Stroman has the ball for the Yankees sporting a 2.42 ERA to go with a 1-1 record thus far on the season. Paul Blackburn is actually off to a terrific start this year at 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA for the A's, but has historically struggled against these Yankees' hitters. Through 28 at-bats against, the Yankees have 12 hits and are slashing .429/.448/.793 with a stellar 1.241 OPS. That was before Soto was in the lineup.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Washington Nationals Prediction
Happy Patrick Corbin Day! I really could leave it at that, but I will elaborate. The biggest fade in the NL over the past few seasons is off to a terrific start this season at 0-3 with a 8.06 ERA. The Dodgers have sucked lately, but are coming off a 10-0 win with a day off yesterday and Corbin is just what the doctor ordered. With the best sample size you will ever see, the Dodgers are slashing .283/.369/.493 against Corbin with 52 hits on 184 at bats.
