Spencer Turnbull has turned things around with the Phillies this year. The veteran righty has struck out nearly 26% of batters this season while holding teams to a .091 ISO and wOBA of .202.
He'll take on a difficult Reds projected lineup that has hit a .212 ISO and wOBA of .350 against righties since last season. But when this lineup doesn't hit, it typically strikes out a lot.
The Reds have struck out more than 25% of the time against righties using that projected lineup. There would be five high-strikeout batters in Cincinnati's lineup. Therefore, I like Turnbull's chances to earn at least six strikeouts.

The Miami Marlins were just shut out by Max Fried yesterday. Now they'll take on Reynaldo Lopez in tonight's NL East showdown.
Lopez has pitched very well for the Braves this season. He's struck out 26.5% of batters and has held opponents to a .048 ISO and wOBA of .222 to begin the season.
He's in line to take on a Marlins lineup that has hit a .135 ISO and wOBA of .299 since last season. Five batters in the Miami lineup have struck out at least 21.8% of the time against righties since last season.
Lopez looks really good. But his strikeout numbers aren't even as high as they were last year. They can ultimately rise even more after tonight's game.

Meanwhile, he'll take on an Astros lineup that has only struck out 18.3% of the time against righties since last season. There are really only three targets in the Houston lineup for Taillon to strike out.
