The day game I will be dabbling on today is the Cleveland Guardians hosting the Boston Red Sox. This is the rubber match in the series and the Guards come in being shut out yesterday by the Bo Sox 8-0.
I love backing teams that get shut out at home the following day. They usually have a sense of urgency to get their bats off hot. They should have a nice batting practice against the old man Chase Anderson who is usually pitching in relief these days.
Triston McKenzie will be taking the mound for the AL leading Guardians and he looked sharp in his last outing pitching five innings and securing the win at home against the Oakland Athletics.
