MLB Parlay Pick Today: Thursday's MLB Parlay from Calling Our Shot

Calling Our Shot delivers their favorite two leg parlay for Thursday, April 25th. Yesterday, we delivered a winner. Today, we seek to do the same.

MLB PARLAY PICK TODAY: THURSDAY'S MLB PARLAY FROM CALLING OUR SHOT

Welcome to the parlay of the day, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, the parlay of the day got back on track with an easy winner. Today, we look to turn that into a streak and go for two straight. Lock in. These games start early today!

THURSDAY'S MLB PARLAY

LEG 1: BLUE JAYS VS ROYALS: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 1+ RUNS IN THE 1ST 5 INNINGS

Our first leg of this parlay is a unique one. Just like yesterday, we had a similar leg, that was sweat-free. Today, we look for the same. You might be a little confused, so here's how you bet this on DraftKings. Go to the 'Innings' tab under the Blue Jays and Royals game and you'll see a sub-section titled "Both Teams to Score X+ Runs - 1st 5 Innings"...that's where you will select 1+ Runs. Simple. Here's why we like it.

In this series, we've seen final scores of eight, five and five combined runs. Today, the bats show up and I believe we see a lot of runs early in this game. Jose Berrios starts for the Blue Jays. Berrios has allowed zero earned runs in three straight starts. Today, that streak comes to an end. He's facing a Royals team that has had great success against him. The last time Berrios pitched in Kansas City....Eight earned runs. Let's do it again.

Cole Ragans will start for the Royals. Ragans has nasty stuff. We all know he's great at getting the swing and miss, but that's not something the Blue Jays do a ton of. They wait for their pitch and drive it. Ragans allowed seven earned runs in his last start, I'm certain he will be better, but I'm confident in the Blue Jays to at least get one run up on him in the First 5 Innings.

LEG 2: ROCKIES+3.5

Our second leg of this parlay is an alternate run line. I see the Rockies being competitive in this game and they should be able to cover the run line as underdogs. Colorado has covered this alternate run line in both games of the series so far.

Randy Vasquez starts for the Padres. While his ERA seems low at 1.80, I still see the Rockies getting to him today in Coors Field. The Rockies are 11th in hits at home and should get plenty of opportunities today to hit with runners in scoring position.

Dakota Hudson will start for the Rockies. His ERA isn’t the best on paper at a 5.06 but Hudson is a ground ball pitcher capable of getting the Padres to roll over into double plays. In 29 plate appearances, Hudson has an expected batting average of only .195 to this Padres lineup. This is an easy look-ahead for the Padres. The Padres host the Phillies in their next series and I could see a world in which they overlook the Rockies today.
