We finished yesterday 1-1 after Cole Ragans and the Royals were shortened to a five-inning game due to rain. Our Under 5.5 bet on Ragans looked good until the game was called.
That said, we're back with three more strikeout props for tonight's massive slate in the MLB.

Gavin Stone will pitch for the Dodgers in their series-opening game against the Blue Jays. Stone has struck out only 19% of batters this season and has allowed a .326 wOBA to his first 84 batters faced.
Meanwhile, in 152 plate appearances last year, Stone struck out just 14.5% of batters and has way worse stats against righties. Therefore, a regression could be in play against the Blue Jays tonight.
Toronto has struck out just 18.1% of the time using its projected lineup against righties. Only Dauton Varsho and Davis Schneider have struck out at a high rate. However, both hitters have also hit an ISO of at least .194 against righties since last season.
Let's take a chance on Stone's Under.

The Marlins have watched Jesus Luzardo go from 27.7% of strikeouts last season to just 23.2% of strikeouts this season.
In addition to his lower strikeouts, Luzardo has allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .358 to his first 112 batters faced this season.
While the Nationals don't have much power against lefties, Washington knows how to put the ball in play. The projected lineup has struck out only 17.4% of the time against lefties since last season. Washington legitimately has three batters in the lineup that have struck out 10% of the time or fewer against lefties.
Therefore, the Under 5.5 is appealing. Even if Luzardo gets a strikeout per inning, I don't think that'll be enough cause I'd project him to go just five innings.

Kutter Crawford has struck out 33.9% of lefties to begin the season. The good news is he'll face five lefties in the Chicago lineup tonight.
Those lefties have combined to strike out 28.6% of the time against righties since last season.
Meanwhile, Crawford struck out 26.5% of righties last season. So, it's possible his strikeout rate against righties will increase, as it's currently 18.8%.
With five batters striking out at least 24.4% against righties, I like Crawford's strikeout potential tonight. Take his Over.
