May 8 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Brady Singer Over 5.5 Ks (+136) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Brady Singer has struck out 25.6% of batters to begin the season. He's also held teams to 8.1% of walks and limited opponents to a .266 wOBA.

Today, he'll face a Brewers lineup that has struck out nearly 27% of the time since last year. The projected lineup even has four batters striking out at least 28.6% of the time against righties since last year. There are also six targets with strikeout rates of at least 23.6% and eight targets with strikeout rates of at least 20.3%.

Plus, the Brewers' projected lineup has only hit a .136 ISO and wOBA of .298 against righties. Singer has the potential to go deep in tonight's game. If he goes six innings, you'd have to imagine he'd be at at least six strikeouts.

Hayden Wesneski Under 3.5 Ks (-102) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Hayden Wesneski will get the start for the Cubs today. He's a righty who has struck out just 22.2% of batters to begin the year.

Wesneski has still been good. He's limited teams to a .017 ISO and wOBA of .166 with just 4.8% of walks and 50% of grounders.

However, this year's sample size is sitting at just 63 batters. Last year, lefties slugged a .319 ISO and wOBA of .418 in 158 at-bats. Keep that in mind.

Plus, the Padres' projected lineup has only struck out 16.1% of the time against righties since last year. Only Fernando Tatis Jr. has a strikeout rate of higher than 21.4% since last season against righties. Yet, Tatis Jr. has the highest ISO numbers against righties since last season.

I'll grab the Under here.

Jordan Hicks Over 4.5 Ks (-104) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I know we're in Colorado. But Jordan Hicks is facing a Rockies' offense that has struck out 29.7% of the time against righties since last year.

The projected lineup only has one batter who hasn't struck out more than 23.4% of the time against righties, and that's Charlie Blackmon. The other eight are significant targets for strikeouts.

Meanwhile, Hicks has struck out nearly 20% of batters this season, including 22.8% of righties. He'll be in line to face a Colorado lineup that should have six righties in the lineup. That ultimately favors Hicks, who has also held teams to a .060 ISO and wOBA of .242 with 58.1% of ground balls.
