Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

We've got plenty of baseball on the schedule tonight! I've got my eyes on many pitching matchups tonight, so I've added a few strikeout props for the 15-game slate.

May 10 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Tanner Houck Under 5.5 Ks (-138) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Although Tanner Houck has struck out 25.4% of batters this season, he's still only managed 21.2% of strikeouts against lefties.

He'll face a Nationals projected lineup that is in line to have five lefties in the lineup. Plus, those five lefties have only struck out 18.9% of the time this season against righties.

In addition, the righties have struck out below 21% of the time. As a whole, the lineup has struck out just 20.4% of the time, with only Nick Senzel and Eddie Rosario striking out at a high rate.

With only two legitimate targets in the Nationals lineup, I'll take the Under for Tanner Houck.

Charlie Morton Under 5.5 Ks (+110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Mets' projected lineup has only struck out 19.6% of the time against righties since last year.

Meanwhile, Charlie Morton has only struck out 22.9% of batters but has since his strikeout rate dropped from 25.6% last season.

Morton has struggled with lefties, adding only 20.9% of strikeouts. That's not good for Morton, as he's in line to face more lefties than righties in New York's lineup tonight.

The Mets' lefties have combined to strike out just 18.3% of the time. Only J.D. Martinez (a righty) has struck out more than 20.7% of the time against righties this year.

Ranger Suarez Over 5.5 Ks (+114) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I'll dabble with a plus-money wager.

Ranger Suarez has been elite for the Phillies this season. He's struck out 26.9% of batters and has held opponents to a .086 ISO and wOBA of .211 with nearly 60% of ground balls.

I don't see why Suarez can't go six innings tonight. He's facing a Marlins projected lineup that has hit a .100 ISO and wOBA of .258 with 21.6% strikeouts. Four batters in the lineup have struck out at least 25% of the time against lefties.

Plus, if Suarez goes six or seven innings, he'd have more opportunities against these high-strikeout bats, who are mainly near the top of the order.
