The Atlanta Braves take on the New York Mets for the final game of their three-game series. The Braves will send Bryce Elder to the mound to try and complete the series sweep. I'm looking to take the under on Elder's pitching outs, a mark he's stayed under in two of his three starts.

ATLANTA BRAVES VS. NEW YORK METS PREDICTION
The Mets offense ranks top ten in wRC+ (103), top ten in walk rate (9.1%), and have the sixth lowest strikeout rate (20.2%). After having Thursday off, Charlie Morton and Max Fried both gave the Braves seven innings which means the bullpen is rested and ready to go should Elder run into some trouble here.
After back to back quiet games from the Mets offense, I expect them to show some life today to try and avoid a home series sweep. Bryce Elder was pretty solid in his first two outings this season but he got rocked by the Los Angeles Dodgers in his last start.
To his credit, the Dodgers have the best offense in baseball but Elder really struggled on the back half of last season as well. The most pitches he's thrown in an outing this season is 87 which will make it difficult to work through six innings.
Elder's recent struggles, pitch count, and state of the Braves bullpen give me enough reason to back the under in this spot. Give me the under 17.5 pitching outs for Bryce Elder today in his matchup with the New York Mets.
