Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday's loss snapped our four day winning streak. Unfortunate. We've hit nine of our last 12 parlays of the day. It's time we get back on track today.
WEDNESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: WILLIAM CONTRERAS (MIL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: William Contreras. Contreras and the Brewers play host to the Pirates. William has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball. He's on an eight game hit streak, batting .452 over that timespan, which his season average of .352 isn't far behind that. He's been terrific. Today, he gets the lefty Martin Perez, who he is 1 for 2 lifetime against. Perez is allowing a .285 BA to Righties. William will deliver a early hit for us this afternoon.
The only negative about Contreras today is he starts at 1:10PM EST, so hopefully you read this article early enough to get this locked in!
LEG 2: FREDDIE FREEMAN (LAD) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Freddie Freeman. Freeman is a late start tonight against the Giants. Some books are slow to put lines out for this game as the Dodgers don't have a starter listed, but the Giants do.
While Freddie is a great player on the field, he's an even better person off the field. Great family man. Freddie Freeman is the proud father of four sons: Charlie, Brandon, Maximus and Logan. Lucky for us, he gets to face one of his sons today, Logan....Logan Webb that is.
Freddie is a career 14 of 29 (.483) against Logan Webb. Joking aside, this has been a matchup he has owned. Logan Webb doesn't walk many batters, which is always a concern when backing Freddie. He will get us a hit tonight though. Take it to the bank.
