Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Tuesday

We've got a loaded slate on the MLB board tonight.

With 16 games and 32 starting pitchers, there are many strikeout props to choose from. After going through each game, here are my favorite three strikeout props for tonight's MLB slate.

May 28 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Tarik Skubal Over 7.5 Ks (-138) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Tigers will pitch left-handed ace Tarik Skubal. He's ultimately struck out 31% of batters this season and has held opponents to a .100 ISO and woBA of .228 with only 4.3% of walks.

Skubal is pitching at a super high level right now. Meanwhile, he'll take on a Pittsburgh lineup that has struck out 26.7% of the time against lefties this season.

Additionally, there are six batters in the lineup that have struck out at least 25.4% of the time against lefties. There are also seven batters with strikeout rates above 21.5%.

Skubal should have a day and could potentially add 10+ strikeouts tonight.

Triston McKenzie Over 4.5 Ks (-136) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Although Triston McKenzie has only struck out 20.2% of batters, he's had much more success against right-handed batters as a right-handed thrower.

McKenzie has earned 26.5% of strikeouts against righties and he'll likely face a Rockies lineup that has six righties in it. Beyond that, those six righties have combined to strike out 27.8% of the time against righties this year.

Colorado has struck out 25.6% of the time as a lineup. Therefore, McKenzie, even in Coors Field, has an advantage regarding strikeouts. Grab his Over.

Griffin Canning Under 4.5 Ks (-128) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Griffin Canning has seen his strikeouts really dip from last year. Canning added 26% of strikeouts against 535 batters last season but has only earned 16.1% of strikeouts this year.

This season, we've got a sample size of 224 batters, so it's enough to prove just how bad Canning has been in regards to strikeouts this season.

Meanwhile, he'll face a Yankees lineup that has only struck out 17.7% of the time against righties. There are just three targets for Canning, including Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Both of those two sluggers have absolutely smashed right-handed pitching with ISO's above .300 this season.

I'll take my chances with the Under.
