I am going to be targeting two of the best hitters in baseball today to go under their strikeouts props, Luis Arraez and Shohei Ohtani.
May 29th MLB Parlay Prop Picks
Luis Arraez has struck out in just four of his last 30 games, and ranks in the 100th percentile in K% and whiff %. The matchup vs. Braxton Garrett is tough, but he only ranks in the 31st percentile in whiff % so far this season. Garrett throws a lot of strikes and doesn’t walk many batters, so I think Arraez jumps on pitches early in the count.
Ohtani is in a little bit of a slump for his standards, but I think a 1.5 K's line for him is a bit high. Ohtani is middle of the pack as far as K% goes this season (59th percentile), and has struck out 2+ times in two of his last 11 games. This is Peterson’s first MLB start of 2024, which is against the best lineup in baseball. I don’t think Ohtani is striking out twice today.
