Smaller MLB slate today with eight games being played but I've cooked up a two-leg parlay for the late window I'm confident in.
MLB Prop Pick Parlay
Leg 1: Trevor Williams under 15.5 pitching outs
The first leg of the parlay is Trevor Williams under 15.5 pitching outs which is a prop I've cashed on several times this season. Williams has stayed under this line in six consecutive starts and he doesn't have a very long leash as he's only thrown more than 81 pitches in three of his outings this season.
The Washington Nationals take on the Atlanta Braves who rank just outside the top 10 in pitches seen per plate appearance (3.91) which means the Braves should force Williams to throw more pitches in this game. Several players in the Braves lineup have good history when facing Williams including Michael Harris II, Jarred Kelenic, Marcell Ozuna, Matt Olson, Sean Murphy, and Orlando Arcia all of which are batting .300 or better in their career against Williams.
Just looking at his numbers on the season its easy to identify his struggles of pitching deep into games and I don't expect that to change tonight in this matchup with Atlanta.
Leg 2: Jack Flaherty over 4.5 strikeouts
The second leg of the parlay is Jack Flaherty over 4.5 strikeouts which is a number he's hit in all ten of his starts. Flaherty has been an elite strikeout guy this season as he ranks in the 95th percentile in K rate, 97th percentile in whiff rate, and 71st percentile in chase rate.
Tonight, he gets an advantageous matchup against the Boston Red Sox lineup that has the seventh highest strikeout percentage against right-handed pitchers this season. Contrary to Trevor Williams, Jack Flaherty been extremely consistent at providing extended outings for the Detroit Tigers and has pitched at least six innings in nine out of his ten starts this year.
The books have his outs prop set at 17.5 tonight and juiced to the over which means they expect another lengthy start which will provide him with more opportunities for strikeouts. This parlay combination is available to play on several major sportsbooks including FanDuel, DraftKings, Bet365, and Caesars. Personally, I'm playing this parlay on Caesars Sportsbook where the odds are currently set at -122.
After an incredible hot streak we've hit a rough patch but if the Braves can force an early exit from Trevor Williams and Jack Flaherty can rack up the strikeouts against the Red Sox we will be back in the win column tonight and looking to start a new win streak!
