Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. It's Friday. The final day of the business week. The final day of our daily parlays (until Monday of course). We need a winner. Lock this in. Let's end the week strong!
FRIDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: ALEC BOHM (PHI) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Alec Bohm. Bohm was a staple of the hit parlays a few weeks ago when he was on his 17 (?) game hit streak. We went away from him, but today, we are back in a perfect spot. Bohm is batting .308 on the year, and he's at home where I like him best.
Today, he faces Miles 'Meatball' Mikolas. That's the nickname I gave him as I feel he throws a lot of meatballs right over the middle of the plate. Bohm has done damage to those meatballs as he's 6 for 11 (.546) against Mikolas in his career with three extra base hits. We only need a single today, and I have a strong feeling Alec gets us more than that.
LEG 2: WILLIAM CONTRERAS (MIL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: William Contreras. William has found himself into several parlays of the day this season, and it's for good reason, as he's batting .317. He went 0-4 in his last game against the Cubs, so in a great spot to bounce back against Fedde and the White Sox.
In six at bats against Fedde, Contreras has a hit in four of them...that's good for a .667 batting average. Today, let's hope he improves that average. William is batting .347 at home this season. Whether it's against Fedde or the White Sox bullpen, William will take us home!
